Knowing Jack
I am Jack Skeels and I write about things that I know and I don’t know, especially when they have to do with strategy, products and marketing. I’ll be launching another site shortly, WhoKnowsJack.com, where I’ll deliver somewhat more pointed commentary on a broader range of current topics, including great examples of small-i ignorance versus big-i Ignorance (more on this elsewhere on this site), and articles and insights from others that you might want to check out.
My great passion is to explore the unknown, and I have found my work in strategy and client partnering to be the best way to find new horizons. I’ve had many great pleasures in my career, including working with dozens of Fortune 100 companies as my clients, spending several years as a senior analyst at RAND Corporation, teaching graduate-level strategy, and winning a handful of awards, including the Inc. 500 award (twice) for a consulting firm that I started. Recently, one of the wonderful teams that I led at Sapient won a bronze Addy award for the new LinksysbyCisco.com website.
By day, I work with clients, Great and Small, to help them in one or more of these areas:
