My name is Jack Skeels and I write about things that I know and I don’t know, espe­cially when they have to do with strat­egy, prod­ucts and marketing.

My great pas­sion is to explore the unknown, and I have found my work in strat­egy and client part­ner­ing to be the best way to find new hori­zons.  I’ve had many great plea­sures in my career, includ­ing work­ing with dozens of For­tune 100 com­pa­nies as my clients, spend­ing sev­eral years as a senior ana­lyst at RAND Cor­po­ra­tion, teach­ing graduate-level strat­egy at two pres­ti­gious uni­ver­si­ties, and win­ning a hand­ful of awards, includ­ing the Inc. 500 award (twice) for a con­sult­ing firm that I started.  I’ve started or been part of the founding/innovation team eight star­tups, three of which ended in sale transactions.

By day, I work with clients, Great and Small, at my lat­est startup, Agen­cyAg­ile (.com) — we help inter­ac­tive mar­ket­ing agen­cies deliver projects bet­ter, faster, and hap­pier. I also invented a sinus care prod­uct called Sinox Spray using licensed tech­nol­ogy from a some­what larger per­sonal care and pharma com­pany on the east coast. We are now re-branding and relaunch­ing this month as Snoot!

I live in Topanga, Cal­i­for­nia with my wife Michelle and the most stun­ning sun­rises you will ever see.
